Mission Statement To be a dynamic spiritual body empowered by the Holy Spirit to share the love of Christ and the message of salvation with as many people as possible in our church, Larned, surrounding community, and throughout the world. To help people experience a growing knowledge of God through teaching, preaching, evangelism, and service.
Statement of Faith The Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the basis for any statement of faith. The Church subscribes to The Baptist Faith and Message as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in 2000.	History First Southern Baptist Church of Larned Kansas had it's first service on May 10th 1963. God is faithful and has taken a little struggling church and created what it is now today with a modern worship center, a new fellowship hall, complete with gym, Sunday School class rooms and a kitchen.
